How do I add a customer journey? : Cinch

You can add a customer journey as part of your account. Journeys are created by nodes, which are connecting points that define an intended direction. Node triggers interact with actions and conditions to create a customer’s journey. Learn more about node configurations used in customer journeys.

Once nodes are added to a journey, you can create connections between nodes to create the journey.

Your account can support multiple journeys with various nodes and customer qualifications.

Journeys are created in draft view until they are published.

Open Customer Journey Page

In the Navigation Menu, click the Customer Journeys link.

Add Customer Journey

Click the Add Journey button.

Add Title

In the title field, enter a title for the journey.

Add Node

In the sidebar, locate the type of node you want to configure in the journey—Triggers, Actions, or Conditions.

With your mouse, click the node [1]. Drag the node from the sidebar to the main window [2]. To place the node in the window, release the mouse [3].

Configure Node

If the node requires configuration, click the node and complete the configuration field(s). Then click the Apply button.

Add Additional Node

Add an additional node to the main window to create a path for the journey.

Connect Nodes

Return to the first node. Hover your mouse over the node and click the gray arrow.

Drag the arrow to the second node and release the mouse.

Note: If the arrow is not retained on the node and displays a gray path, the selected condition is not supported for the intended node.

Complete Journey

Add and connect as many additional nodes as needed until all nodes have been added for the journey.

Connections from one node can be made to multiple nodes.

Manage Nodes

To edit a node configuration, click the node.

To delete a connection between nodes, hover your mouse over the path and click the Delete icon.

To delete a node, hover your mouse over the node and click the Delete icon.

Move Nodes

To move a node to another location in the journey, click the Selection icon [1], then click the node [2]. Drag the node to its intended location.

Move Multiple Nodes

To select and move multiple nodes, click the Selection icon [1], then click and drag your mouse around each node you want to move [2]. The cursor will create a box that will be placed around any text or node that contains a portion of the box. Remove the box around the selected nodes by clicking anywhere in the window.
